- JJulianneVIPRegión de la Bahía de San Francisco •10 reseñas5.0Comieron hace 1 díaThe food was outstanding. Our party of 5 had a preferred round table. We ordered grilled octopus and popcorn crab appetizers (both outstanding), and 4 people ordered steak and 1 person fish. Everyone was delighted. Two of us ordered the trio of wagyu steaks with salts and enjoyed comparing US, Australia and Japan (although we wished the Japanese cut matched the other two countries). Service was pro and unobtrusive. It's not inexpensive, but it was outstanding.Más informaciónThe Sea by Alexander's SteakhousePrecio: Muy caro• Pescados y Mariscos• Palo Alto•4.7

- LLaurieVIPRegión de la Bahía de San Francisco •25 reseñas5.0Comieron en 27 dic 2024Love this place! We're New Yorkers and one item that's hard to find around here is the Calzone, a "pizza-type"specialty, but the stuffing ("toppings" which you may choose like a pizza) are packed into dough bundle, think egg roll or burrito but larger, baked, not fried. Hubby , the calzone king said it was just right! Little easier to eat than a pizza also. I, as usual, had the delicious Chicken Parmigiana. It is served with pasta and spinach, but I asked for mixed vegetables, no pasta. No problem. They are very flexible about small changes. Their wines are excellent also, along with great dessert options.Más informaciónGiorgio's Italian Grill & Pizzeria - Mountain ViewPrecio: Moderado• Italiana• Vista de la montaña•4.7

- RRyanRegión de la Bahía de San Francisco •4 reseñas5.0Comieron en 20 nov 2024Tried Rara for the first time with my family. I’ve had Nepali food before, they have not. All of us enjoyed Rara. Service is casual, so it can take a bit of time to flag down a waiter, but it’s on par with other similar restaurants. Cozy ambience. Some of the food is very spicy, and not always clearly marked as such, so definitely ask before you commit. Standouts for us were the gorkhali lamb shank (fell off the bone and the rice was great too), the momos (we didn’t think there was a need to get the sizzler, so we just got the regular momos), and the very spicy mushroom chhoila. We also enjoyed the goat taas (also pretty spicy) and the paratha. The lassi was also good (and helpful with the spicier food). We didn’t try the curries but they also looked very good; it seems like they do a really good job with slow cooked meats or really anything that has to braise/simmer. Definitely a good place to order family style so that you can try everything (they don’t make it obvious that you can do it that way). Flavors were rich and deep, but the food wasn’t overly heavy either - really well-cooked. Will definitely go back!Más informaciónRaraPrecio: Moderado• Nepalí• Palo Alto•4.3
