The Apprentice Restaurant Sydney is a TAFE NSW licensed training restaurant. We are open Tuesday to Thursday lunch and dinner during TAFE Term time until 28 November 2024.Lunch 12pm to 2pm: three courses (entrée, main & dessert) for $44 or you can select any two courses for $39. Dinner 6pm to 8:30pm: three course menu for $44. (Our prices are excluding beverages). We had an excellent meal at Gavroche- cocktails started the evening, and after choosing our meal (fois gras and scallops to start followed by steak frites and Rossini Tornedo) Matthieu our sommelier helped us choose a lovely bottle of Bordeaux red. The food and wine was excellent and the dessert (and dessert wine) was an excellent end to the meal, which we capped off with a glass of cognac. One of the highlights was the ambience and of the place and the very attentive service (so French). I would highly recommend Gavroche!!

The food was decent and the ambience was nice. Service was however under par, there was no one at the front when we were looking to order and basically waited 5 minutes but other than that the food came out quick after ordering and taste was good too.
