Welcome to The King's Head Blofield, a gastro pub nestled in the heart of Blofield. We take pride in serving the finest local ales, craft beers, and a seasonal menu sourced from local producers. Under new ownership since July 2023, our pub has been a cherished part of Blofield's community since 1836, and this change in ownership is dedicated to preserving its legacy for many years to come.This past summer, we undertook extensive renovations including a new kitchen, state-of-the-art equipment, a reimagined bar layout, and an exciting outdoor adventure play area for children. Welcome to The Red Lion Bishopgate!On the banks of the River Wensum and a stone's throw from Norwich Cathedral. We serve fresh, locally sourced food all day, everyday. Our head chef Tom has created a menu suitable for everyone, including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. We serve a delicious Sunday roast every weekend.Brunch is also available every weekend 10:00am-12 noon (11:30am on Sundays). Please see below our food serving times:Monday - Thursday: 12:00-20:00Friday & Saturday: 12:00-21:00Sunday: 12:00-19:00 with a choice of roasts and bar classics.We always leave some tables free, so if you can't make a booking just pop in to see if you can grab a table!
