Tavi is an Israeli restaurant serving made-to-order pita from a wood-fired oven, elaborately finished hummus plates, and small and large plates drawing from the same modern Israeli inspiration as its sister restaurant, Shaya.     Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Covington, LA and all of the N. Shore. This is our go to restaurant for when we have special occasions to celebrate. The food is excellent. The cooking fondly reminds me of my original home, the North End of Boston (Little Italy 🇮🇹). Service is always superb. Staff are super welcoming. Good vibes all around. Would highly recommend to all y’all. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

    Fabulous fabulous food. Great great service. Wonderful atmosphere. By far the best restaurant in Covington. Love love love the place. We have eaten at restaurants across the US and Europe. This one is as good as the best anywhere.

    This restaurant is amazing I was in town for a family gathering and my cousin lives in the neighborhood and took us to dinner on Friday night we had cocktails and the best hummus any of us have had. We dined on three (cauliflower, chicken and mushrooms). We enjoyed it so much we came back two nights later. Mark and Stephanie took excellent care of us. They were very nice and accommodating.
