The best part about our Christmas breakfast was sitting near the fireplace on a chilly morning, and the excellent service we received. The food was ok, not exceptional, We had the eggs benedict and one of us had the McMenamin's two egg breakfast. There was an overpowering smell of woodsmoke from outside (not the fireplace), and the music playing was Italian Opera played way too loudly.

Not just a meal, an experience, as food should be. Amaro manages to feel comfortable and welcoming while serving dishes that just take your breath away. A truly unique place!
