We had a beautiful meal, we couldn’t fault it. Food was amazing, service was fantastic and everything else in between.

We drove from Northampton to meet family for a fantastic Sunday roast at The Bell Inn at Purton Stoke which we have done for the last 3 years on the Sunday before Christmas. The food is phenomenal you will not find a better fresh home cooked Sunday roast anywhere. The service is quick and impeccable and the atmosphere is warm friendly and fun. The price is higher than say the average roast at your local restaurant or Toby but it is so worth it, there is that saying you get what you pay for. That is so very true. I would rather pay a bit more and know I'm guaranteed fabulous fresh home cooked food than pay less and have food that has been pre cooked frozen then defrosted in a microwave. You will totally enjoy your visit to The Bell Inn at Purton Stoke, wish it was closer to where we live. The pub itself is a gem which has a vast history, the staff are warm friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It's incredible clean in there and the toilets are as clean and fresh smelling as your toilets at home which I think are so vitality important. Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.

All staff extremely happy, friendly and attentive. Felt that the food could have been a bit hotter. Must admit that the roast beef was quite tough.

We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰
