Our starters were very large overall but could have done with a bit more toast with the pate. Main course was exception more than enough to satisfy the biggest appetite. Only the children had desert but there were clean plates so that too was a hit. Service was a little slow with clearing away empty glasses and bottles but overall very lovely time was had by all

Another great family celebration at Albert's. Lovely having this local gem on the doorstep. Food is consistently good and the service is always friendly. This time around Lottie was a star and even brought the birthday boy an extra mini pudding with a candle, lovely touch. The 2/3 course lunch deal can't be beaten for value.

The meal and the staff were lovely. Just a little hiccup of not having a side plate for the bread and butter starter. There was a little delay in meal options. The staff was so helpful. Thank you

An excellent dining experience ! We have a Christmas dinner here every year, and it's so consistent. There are a few choices on the menu but we always opt for the traditional Christmas fayre - Prawn cocktail was served in a lovely sauce with crunchy bits, delicious, followed by an unusual Turkey Balloutine, really tasty with all the trimmings, nice cranberry sauce too ! Finished off with Christmas pud, sauce & ice cream , very yummy ! With our glass of white wine followed by a bottle of red, it was the perfect meal. Portions were just the right size, well cooked and presented with style. A lovely atmosphere and ambience, beautiful decorations, everyone happily chatting around you and enjoying themselves. Much credit to the staff who served us - smiling, chatty but still in their professional mode, nothing rushed, the right timings between courses, service was impeccable, in fact - Everything was PERFECT !!
