Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     What a delightful afternoon. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The food was tasty and plentiful. The drinks were not too overpriced. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Great ambiance. Definitely one of my favourite places in Manchester.

    Had a fantastic Saturday 3 course lunch, food was amazing, service was perfect I.e. friendly and attentive but not intrusive . Lovely atmosphere, felt like I’d stepped into a little retro bistro in Paris. Really felt like a treat, will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend which is something I rarely do as I’m fairly difficult to impress on the eating out front.

    Lovely venue with really helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. They accommodated is bringing an extra guest and a dog, the service was friendly and helpful and the food was really good with plenty of gravy to go around! Thanks for a lovely Sunday lunch!

    Went as a family, 10 of us in total. Staff were amazing and took great care of us. Food was great even the fussy kids didn’t have any complaints. Would definitely return :)
