We are open for our full a la carte restaurant service from Monday to Saturday each week with tables from 18:00 until 20:30. We are closed for dinner on Sunday, but the bar is open. We offer lunches daily and our wonderful Sunday lunch has tables from 12:00 until 16:00. THE WOODSMAN IS A TRULY BRITISH RESTAURANTWe use the best British ingredients, all sourced as sustainably as possible.We love using Wild food, and harvest much of it ourselves. All the meat on our menus is “nose to tail” so the menu is ever changing, and we waste nothing. We even employ our own head ranger to keep the deer herds on the land we manage under control, and have our own deer larder in the Cotswolds where this amazing product is processed.Our fish comes from day boats in Cornwall.We work with the seasons, ensuring the very best truly local veg is with us the day after its picked. Our food is cooked over wood from local plantations, and charcoal coppiced less than 20 miles away.We know the story of everything on the menu.Our lovely staff are extremely well informed, so, do ask questions on anything you’re not sure of.We hope you love this restaurant as much as we do and keep coming back.

The Horse and Groom Inn aims to provide great food and drink in a quintessential, traditional 16th century country inn. Dining is relaxed and informal in a friendly atmosphere. There are two dining spaces at Cotswold House, as well as an option to have lunch or dinner at our sister property The Noel Arms directly opposite.The juxtaposition of our relaxed Cocktail Bar area and sophisticated Hidcote Brasserie & Grill restaurant creates a two-concept dining experience. Linked together, these spaces offer the best of both worlds. The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers an informal dining experience, this is where the bar is located so expect a livelier vibe, cocktail shakers, the gurgling espresso machine and locals coming and going. We chose the tasting menu accompanied by the wine flight and it proved to be a superb choice. The attention to detail throughout the meal was excellent aided by very attentive and informative staff, who looked after us in the best possible way. I would recommend eating at this restaurant to anyone who enjoys fine dining.

Reasonably priced food for the portion size and quality. Mains are quite big, especially burgers and fish and chips (if on their menu). All good is seasonal and fresh and you definitely can taste it! A great range of drinks using local suppliers

Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.

All staff extremely happy, friendly and attentive. Felt that the food could have been a bit hotter. Must admit that the roast beef was quite tough.

We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰
