Chat Thai became an instant smash hit in 1989 when it opened its first restaurant with plenty of heat and authentic Thai dishes. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay. Searching all across Sydney for the correct vegetables, herbs and sauces Amy was able to set herself apart through a stubborn dedication to reminding diners of their unforgettable food experiences on the streets of Bangkok.Three decades later we are proud to continue Amy’s vision by adding organic vegetables from Boon Luck Farm to serve up authentic Thai dishes we ourselves want to eat. Unique flavours the Thai diaspora crave from the motherland but struggle to find outside of their own home cooking.

    The ramen and the beef ribs were pretty great. The sashimi was a bit overpriced for the small amounts of food but the presentation was nice. The duck was the most disappointing. Servers spilled food and drinks on us because of the Sat rush so that was the biggest negative. All in all though would go back again for the beef ribs. An extra bonus for the gf selection. Would have loved to have tried the items we saw on the website menu but they weren't available the night we went.

    Great little local neighbourhood pub with beer garden - good food and wine selection. Exceptional service. Could consider offering more vegetarian options on the menu and probably not the place to go if you prefer a no dogs policy.. will definitely go back

    Amazing seafood platter for 2 . The battered fish was excellent as it was light and airy. Everything was so fresh . The only slight negatives the mornay sauce on the lobster was a little thick but overall was still a 9.9/10 . Highly recommend.

    Great service throughout and the anchovy with polenta and Brussel sprouts were both outstanding dishes. This place never fails to impress!
