The diamond steak was tasty and tender. I had the sweet potato side and the creamed spinach side. The sweet potato was OK, maybe little too smoothly pureed, I like a little more texture. The creamed spinach was rich. I'd prefer they leave off the tortilla chips and add more cheese and brown the top but I'd order them both again. Our waitress and all the other wait staff were pleasant and held good conversation but not too chatty. The ambience was bourbon and beef (you'll know what I mean when you visit!) and though the price range on Open Door said 2 $'s, it give it at least 3 if not 4 $'s. They have daily specials that make eating there more advising without spending all your rent money but they are definitely not TRH. Some of their streaks run closer to $100, and, BTW, they do serve a Tomahawk. It looks like an entire roast with a bone sticking out, LOL. Overall, great food, great dining experience. Kudos to Ron Lahody's and the staff in Anderson!

Evening started off getting seated for our reservation on time if not, a little early. Venue ambiance is very beautifully decorated inside, comfortable and quiet. Our waitress Lauren was very good, did not push us and separated timing between drinks, appetizers, salads and entrees. Even had the general manager act as the sommelier for our Fleur Pino Noir wine opening where we had a great discussion about wines and vineyard locations of our traveling paths. Food was delicious. Appetizer of calamari was fresh and coated with a very nice lightly spiced sauce with greens . Salads, the Garden with house dressing, and the Caesar, were almost enough for a meal by themselves . Very well done. Entree plates of the Steaks, Ribeye and Filet, were cooked to our liking, complete with sides, and were very delicious. Dessert of the Creme Brule as done very nicely with fresh whipped cream and strawberries. The whole dining experience will no doubt bring us back again and again.

Great food and service. Had a large group and lots of variety for everyone to have a great meal.
