El Freemasons at Wiswell sirve comida fabulosa en un entorno rural elegante y relajado. Showcasing the best of the produce from the farm, which includes organic slow-reared pork and raw milk, and utilising the seasonal bounty that can be found in the surrounding hedgerows and countryside, Eight at Gazegill reconnects guests to nature through the food. Our Brunch, All-Day and Sunday Lunch menus are suitable for all, while our Friday and Saturday evening Tasting Menu offers a more grown up experience. We also have specifically designed menus which are suitable to be eaten on our outside terrace area where the addition of a large purpose-built playground makes this the perfect location for families to enjoy the sunshine.

    We have visited several times, including twice in the last ten days. We had the taster menu last week, and every course was delicious. We had Sunday lunch yesterday, and, although the restaurant was incredibly busy, the food was as outstanding as ever - my ox cheek suet pudding was superb! - and the service was impeccable. The young waiters / waitresses were efficient, attentive and friendly - well done! Everybody at The Rum Fox is to be congratulated on what they have achieved, and we look forward to many future vivits.

    2nd time we have been for lunch and it was exceptional each time. Definitely our kind of dining, everything about ‘Eight’ is superb. The food is fresh, tasteful and so very well presented. There definitely will be more than a 3rd visit for us! Added bonus is looking at the beautiful animals

    Great place, staff attentive and friendly. Very classy decor. Food was to a very high standard, though I do think charging an extra £7 to only receive 3 prawns on my curry was a bit excessive.
