Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Bread is baked daily and all desserts, pastries and ice cream are all made on the premises using quality ingredients.

Prosciutto Bros. is a warehouse factory converted into a Craft Bar, a big red brick building in the industrial area of Eltham, frequented by locals who love an icy craft beer, with 20 Craft Beer taps and a great wine list to match.     If you’re feeling carnivorous, this is the place to whet your appetite..! I love the straightforward and simple menu. Honestly you really can’t go wrong with any dish here. Favourites are the succulent melt-in-the-mouth beef brisket and caramel short ribs. The strip loin steak is a close second followed by the sweet, tender pork belly. The sides are perfect - creamy mash, pickles and slaw complement the rich meat. Wait staff are super easy going, relaxed yet attentive. One of my all time favourite places.
