Very attentive staff and a lovely meal. We got engaged ahead of our visit and staff did everything to make us feel special.

Last time we had the roast, tonight was the fish, excellent choices both times. Well worth the visit. Definitely would recommend it.

We had a really nice meal, served by a wonderful host. It was a shame we were the only people in for a while, added to during the meal as a few came to the bar for a pint or two, so ambiance a little lacking. Timing, we guess, as it was a late lunch. Won’t put us off going back as it’s always welcoming and food never disappoints so either later this holiday or next time we’re up, for sure.

Really good food - well priced. Nice to see the Ship retains its traditional charm.
