The afternoon tea was great, i would have been nice if the christmas menu was already out especially with the winter illuminations down the road, it makes a whole day of festive experience

This was a family Halloween afternoon tea and the decor was excellent. The problem was I had only been at the table for 15 minutes when both children (under 7) wanted the toilet. Despite leaving our coats and half eaten food by the time we returned the waitress had cleared the table! The manageress was very apologetic and boxed up some cakes to take away but my coffee and the children’s drinks went without replacement ! Better training for staff please!

I agree with previous comments that the sandwiches were a bit dry, some lacking enough filling - the Ting (the Shard) might be a good place for inspiration. Service was spot on, nothing to complain about.
