We opened The 3rd BluWater Bistro location in the Leschi neighborhood on March 13, 2004. Mick McHugh handed the reigns over to us after 22 successful years of running the Leschi Lake Café. With a slight remodel we cozy'd up the place, added some fantastic rollback windows, high back booths, some flat screen TV's, and leather furniture by the fireplace. The menu reflects all the goodness that a cozy bistro should offer, including the ever famous & popular "Lake Side Café" Fish and Chips... gotta keep the neighborhood happy.     The food was very good, large portions. Our waitress was very friendly and tentative. There was no wait time to be seated and our waitresses came over within 5 minutes (after we were seated) to take our drink orders. The food was flavorful (except for the stuffing, but then I only love my mom’s stuffing!😉). The Carrol singers were hard to hear although that may have been because the level of the noise from the crowd was a bit loud. The servers that brought our meals were very tentative and kind. Overall we all had a wonderful experience and we will definitely comeback for the New Year’s celebration!!!

    We have been to Stella’s before for their holiday offerings and have not been disappointed. We decided to try their Christmas Eve dinner and we were served 4 courses of very delicious food. The prime rib dinner was particularly outstanding. What was different this time around was the service, however. They seemed to be short staffed and it took some time after we sat time for us to be acknowledged. After we received our food, no one bothered checking in with us to see whether it was to our liking. We ordered wine and it finally arrived after our dessert! My wife and I have eaten at Stella’s many times. We have always enjoyed the food and the service as being outstanding! I will just chalk this up to being a one off.
