Nestled in the heart of Ashtown Village, Dublin 15, overlooking the Royal Canal, The Lock Keeper can be found at Lock #10. Steeped in heritage, this double lock was constructed c.1792. With quality stonework and attractive sloping edges Lock 10 is one of 46 along the Royal Canal and continues to be a testament to the skill of the craftsmen involved. Our bar is adjacent to the Lock Keepers House, a post that became obsolete in 1961 when the canal was closed to traffic the previous year. La comida estaba buenísima, los camareros fueron muy amables, lo único es que el servicio fue un poco despacio, aún así es entendible porque era martes a las 21:30 de la noche. Volveremos seguro, vale la pena!!!

Excelente lugar y en Dublín para probar sus famosos Boxties. El lugar tiene muy buen ambiente y está siempre lleno. La comida tradicional está rica, pero los precios quizás son algo elevados (como en toda la zona central de Dublín) El personal es tan amable, que en ocasiones "agobia" un poco. No obstante, recomiendo probarlo.
