Villa Barolo Ristorante and Wine Bar features creative Italian-inspired dishes using the fresh seafood and game meats. It offers at least four different organic specialties a day. Try its pan seared foie gras with grilled Portobello mushrooms and Belgium endive, its pheasant breast that is lightly seasoned and pan roasted and served with roasted chipollini and mushrooms, or a combination of caribou and lamb chops marinated with fresh garlic and rosemary drizzled with a honey rosemary demi-glaze.     Food was very good and flavorful. Definitely have to get the french onion soup with braised short-rib. The lamb chops were also outstanding. Noteworthy wine list!

    We love it here. The food is always delicious. However, the service always seems to be soooooooo slow. I know this is on the higher end of dining and things are supposed to move slowly, but waiting 30 minutes between courses or having a 3 hour meal is just not realistic for today’s day in age. Even high end restaurants in Philly don’t make you wait that long between courses. We love coming and would probably come more often if the service was more attentive consistency and a bit faster overall.

    Our server Thang was excellent, a true asset to this restaurant! Food was excellent, entertainment (The Cover Girls) were very good. Definitely coming back and recommending this restaurant to our family and friends.
