The Queen Anne Victorian at 210 Savannah Road in Lewes, DE has stood tall for over 100 years. Built in 1899, Captain W. “Diver” Johnston at the age of 52 collaborated with his business partner (William H. Virden) to build a beautiful new house for him and his wife, Isabella. Records indicate that he paid $400 for the entire lot, one of the most prominent sites in downtown Lewes.Over the next 100 years, the Victorian structure built in the style of Eastlake, an English architect, served as a home for many families, including longtime Lewes Mayor, Otis Smith.The team at Raas is proud to continue the story of the Queen Anne Victorian. Best steak house in Rehoboth Beach. Rather small-ish and always busy so reservations are a must. We had escargot and black ravioli as appetizers, then the filet and prime rib as entrees. Everything was so, so good. Be careful you don't fill up first on their hot rolls with house made basil butter. I would highly recommend 1776.

This was my and my husband‘s first time eating in an Indian restaurant. My daughter and her fiancé, who have eaten Indian food, came with us to help us with selecting our order. The weight staff was excellent. The food was very delicious as were the drinks. I highly recommend this as a special occasion restaurant to try.

A delight to dine here. It was warm enough (a rarity in winter in restaurants). Our serve Andre was outstanding. We had foie gras, shrimp cargot, NY strip steak, and lobster thermador. All was perfectly prepared and served with perfect timing. I wish it cost less but that is the price you pay for excellence.

Always a five star dining experience at Heirloom!! Our favorite restaurant in Lewes for special occasions when family is in town. One of our own is an Executive Chef, and the other two who live in NYC are “foodies” and they always really enjoy our dinners at Heirloom!
