Translated from Japanese as "the path to good food," Shokudo specializes in providing a broad range of comfort food favorites from across Asia such as Sushi, Ramen, Kalbi, Pho, and an array of other cross-cultural dishes. With over 25 years of experience in Miami, Shokudo brings the best of Asian cuisine to the Buena Vista neighborhood, located just steps from Miami’s Design District. The restaurant boasts an open kitchen; a modern, bright interior design; a serene outdoor covered patio; and a full bar. We are currently open for indoor/outdoor dining, takeout and delivery seven days a week from 5 to 10:30p.m. Be sure to visit us during Happy Hour, offered daily from 5 to 7:00p.m

El salón comedor principal y el patio cuentan con capacidad para recibir a 100 comensales, mientras que el bar puede recibir a 16 con 24 lugares adicionales en la barra de la recepción, en donde los clientes pueden disfrutar del menú de la tarde y de la barra de mariscos de 15:00 a 17:30, de lunes a sábado. Chef Director Björn Weissgerber serves a diverse menu inspired by the Oceans of Asia, with a particular focus on Japan – sushi, sashimi, tiradito, tempura and robata. Sexy Fish has dishes to please all palates, from traditional tastes to plant-based plates. Among the signature dishes, you’ll be able to dive into are the Bloody Mary Ceviche; our Yellow Tartare, Smoked Tofu and Caviar; plus, the wonderful Enrygii Mushroom Tempura, with Summer Truffle and Aka Miso, as well as its King Crab and Bone Marrow counterpart. Sexy Fish’s interior is designed by the award-winning Martin Brudnizki Studio and includes a show-stopping fish tank. The luxurious dining room also houses amazing original artworks by legendary British artist Damien Hirst, as well as an installation from celebrated architect and designer Frank Gehry, whose 26 beautiful fish lamps play – and sway – beautifully to theme.
