The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-20 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. We leave tables unreserved in our beer garden and parts of inside for groups of less than 5 people and walk-ins. If you're wanting to make a reservation for 20+ people, please visit our webpage.

We are thrilled to have recommenced dining in, for breakfast & lunch, seven days a week from the 29th of October. Numbers are very limited & for this reason there are a couple of changes to the way we do things.- BREAKFAST service daily between 8.30am -10:45am. LUNCH service daily between 12.00pm -3.30pm. Bookings will be staggered during these service times. With inside numbers currently so limited & our weather being so unpredictable, some areas outside will be walk in only & unfortunately some will have no ‘plan B’ for inclement weather.     7 different meals and starters were ordered. the food came quickly and was beautifully cooked, flavours great and even the pizza was fantastic. great base and toppings, (recommend the Gambino). THE BURGERS WERE GREAT. THE Sundowner pale Ale was on par with a Balter. Every offering was very good. they were extremely busy but service kept up and the staff were all happy. will I return again? absolutely. would I recommend it? absolutely.

    Lovely spot. We booked for a group and had a couple of extras join at the last minute, and the team was really accommodating, considering they were so busy. The food was lovely, the atmosphere and view as awesome, and the wine was excellent!

    Our group of eight Coffee Club girls had our Christmas lunch at Merricks store today and we loved it. Everything was perfect! The setting, the food and friendly service made for a most enjoyable day. We will certainly be back!

    Highly recommend Jimmy Rum for a relaxing and easy night out. Food is delicious with many tasty share plates. Lots of drink choices too. Definitely coming back with friends to enjoy this very cozy, funky, friendly (staff) local eatery.
