Taking hospitality back to its roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team breathing new life back into the heart of the community. The menu will offer daily, hyper-seasonal specials, and plenty of British game, meat and fish. Executive chef and owner, Jamie Dobbin is passionate about local sourcing and traditional dishes, such as Half dozen Porthilly rock oysters with shallot dressing, Brixham King scallops with burnt butter cauliflower and caviar or Portland hogget Shepherd’s pie with grilled cutlet. Serious meat lovers can expect 45 day aged native and rare breed steak on offer as well as a hero dish of Beef Wellington for two. Fish is of course wild, sustainable, and British, sourced from day boats on the South coast with the daily catch delivered straight to the door in a matter of hours. I have been meaning to try this place for too long. What a gem!! The fact it was packed on a Tuesday night when other restaurants in Fleet high street weren’t says something. Great food and great service. The salad presentation with the meat dishes was outstanding. Yeah it’s a bit noisy as it’s family orientated mid week and lots of birthday celebrations. Big conservatory area a tad cold but it was 2 oC outside. Will definitely be coming back

Had lunch on a Monday from the lunch menu. The decor is gorgeous. Wasn’t busy so there wasn’t much atmosphere. The food was very good, the service was excellent. Looking forward to going back soon. Would recommend.

The food was great, as always. The service staff are all very friendly and welcoming but the service is slow, took about 15 mins to get our drink and food order taken and then another 15 mins for drinks to arrive and then 30 mins for food to arrive, in not a particularly busy restaurant, it should be quicker, especially when you are with a toddler you are trying to keep entertained. The food also came out in a strange order, my wife had received and nearly finished her main before mine arrived. We love the food, it’s healthy and tasty but the processes in front of house and the kitchen need an overhaul/sharpen.

Are visit to Heavens kitchen on Tuesday was great. Seb was amazing he interacted all evening with us and we would definitely go back and hope Seb was our waiter again.
