The Wild Fork in Tulsa, Oklahoma has been open since 1995, the brainchild of two friends, Julie Woolman and Kim Michie. Located in Utica Square, the restaurant still maintains much of the character its predecessor left behind, but the kitchen has been updated and the menu is continuously revised. When the weather is nice, the patio is open and dogs are more than welcome to visit The Wild Fork with their owners.There is a complete wine list to order from at The Wild Fork. A popular lunch item is the Wild Caesar salad served with olives, feta, artichokes and parmesan. The highlight was the food, the cheesecake appetizer especially. This was my second visit in two weeks. The restaurant decor is inviting and even though the restaurant was busy, we were able to have a conversation with ease. The service was attentive and professional. On both visits, the wine list was an issue as neither of the first two bottles we asked for was on hand. They made this right by making an acceptable substitution. We are fairly new to Tulsa with roots in New Orleans. I expect that we will visit again, regularly.
