Lucia Beverley is located down a beautiful floral alley just a stone's throw from the popular market town's bustling Saturday market. The elegant two-storey restaurant features sumptuous interiors as well as a beautiful and cosy heated outdoor courtyard. It serves a modern Italian all day menu seven days a week from 12-10pm, with weekend brunch served from 9 -1130am Friday to Sunday.

This involves taking the most delicious and flavoursome cuts of meat, which are then skewered and cooked slowly on open flames.This method of cooking also means that all the meat served to you fresh at your table, straight from the grill.     As always the food was amazing. Only constructive criticism is that the Panna Cotta has changed to strawberry Flavour on a Prosecco jelly base, the original version is much nicer. This doesn’t mean it was bad, it was just disappointing. However, overall the food was delicious.

    Ivy Asia is my favourite place to dine out. Prior to this visit, I had only visited on a weekday lunchtime (which was always amazing) but wanted to experience the buzz of a Saturday evening. I wasn’t disappointed, it was amazing as usual. The people who work at Ivy Asia do so brilliantly, they are fabulous and I can’t wait for my next visit.

    I cannot recommend The Rise enough. This was my chosen venue for my birthday treat from my son. To coin a phrase: “ Our meal tonight was spectacular!” I’m my words: “perfection!” The beef wellington was mouthwatering and the suggested paired wine made it all the more perfect! The service was first class and our waiter was both attentive and professional, Thank you TK all at The Rise. 🍷
