Our Depression era building features a bustling dining room, with an authentic tin ceiling, reclaimed wood floor, period lighting, and tufted banquette, providing a warm and comfortable space for an evening out. Our head chef and owner Jason Carron has revolutionized the New England restaurant community for two decades. Having given hope to hundreds of restaurants over the years, Carron is opening his first steakhouse this spring, bringing that same level of attention to his own restaurant. Every ingredient is well thought out to innovate the plate with not only something aesthetically pleasing, but more importantly delicious. His farm to table approach, ensures the highest level of ingredients go into every meal you enjoy.Please note our dress code: No gym wear, hooded sweatshirts, shorts, or ball caps are to be worn. The Landing was first established in 1972 and has withstood the test of time and the elements. Located on Marblehead Harbor our "On the Water Harbor Views" can't be beat. Chef Noe Ortega brings culinary excellence to each dish and our service is comforting and professional. Our Deck and Patio offer great views and atmosphere with Fresh Seafood right form the dock. Along with Steaks, Duck and plenty of Vegetarian and Gluten Free offerings you'll be sure to find what your looking for on our menu. We are on the water in the Historic District and close by Fort Sewall and Crocker Park as well as the Jerimiah Lee Mansion. Great wine and drink lists will accompany the ever changing menus created by Chef Noe Ortega.

Even though Post is a new name for most of us, it has been an important part of South Hamilton history since 1924. The historic building at 16 Bay Rd. was home to the South Hamilton Post Office, and a place for residents to send and pick up letters. In response to the Great Depression, and a drop in the postage rate (from three cents to 2 cents), the Postmaster added more opportunities for residents to pick up their mail. At Post, which at the time was known as “the brick block building”, letters were piled on a table, and a bell was rung to let residents know that they could come and retrieve their mail. Keeping with that tradition, guests of Post will have an opportunity to “Ring the Bell”, which signifies that they have bought a beer for our hard working kitchen and waitstaff. Whether you are coming in to dine with family and friends, grabbing a drink and an appetizer, or picking up takeout on the way home, Post is here for you – rain or shine.

    From start to finish our meal at Post was perfect. Our server Luis was outstanding. He provided us with detailed explanations of our selections and guided us through our order. Steak was top shelf, and both the Scallop dish and Crab Cakes were outstanding. Why drive to Boston when we have so many great steakhouses on the North Shore!

    Went with a group of friends for our book club dinner. The ambience was really nice and the noise level was low for our conversation making it perfect for a special night out on a date or with friends. Best of all, the food was absolutely delicious and plentiful! I had the pan seared chicken with smoked carrot risotto and others had the salmon. Everyone loved their meal and all agreed that we would love to return!
