A contemporary take on the classic oyster bar, located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, near BAM, Barclay's, the Paramount, and Atlantic Terminal. Strange Delight finds its influence in New Orleans and is also inspired by the rich history of oysters in New York. Our menu consists of regional seafood prepared in a variety of styles: Charbroiled Oysters and Shrimp Remoulade share the stage with classic seafood towers and Oysters Rockefeller.     We went to Wabi Nori last Friday night with a large group of friends. We had a reservation, but if we’d been any later, we might’ve missed out on a table because it was quite packed. The décor, soft lighting, and gentle Japanese music really enchanted us. We started with Chicken Gyoza and Edamame; the gyoza filling was super tasty. Then we tried the Volcano Roll and Seared Salmon Roll from the menu—I’ve gotta say, the freshness of the fish really stood out. Service was pretty fast, though there were some minor delays when it got really busy. Still, the friendly staff made up for it. Prices are normal for New York, not cheap but not outrageous either. We had a wonderful evening

    Love our meal at strange delight. The room is surprisingly beautiful. The cocktails were very well-made. And the dishes we tried were wonderful. Prices are definitely high, the gin ramos fizz is $10 more than when it was reviewed in August, but I would return. The food, drinks and ambulance were wonderful.

    Outstanding every time! Intimate setting with great chefs and amazing food. There are a few frequent (delicious) plates but always new items each time I've gone. Would highly recommend.
