Really lovely ambience and traditional Austrian-German feeling. Service was excellent, friendly efficient staff and excellent food.

This restaurant has a fabulous, vibrant atmosphere whilst being wonderfully cosy during the dark winter afternoons. The service is outstanding and we were greeted warmly and served by excellently attentive and polite servers which really enhanced the experience. The food is very good - not outstanding considering what you are paying - we had the schnitzel and spatchcock chicken which were really good but small portions. But I would happily go there again and pay the high price for spending the afternoon in what is overall a great restaurant.

Very good experience overall, service was excellent, food was also very good. And the ambience excellent. On the downside the prices which were higher which did not correspond to the value offered. And this was the case for years now, not just recently with the recent price crisis. Definitely recommended but not sure whether people will return there often. I must also appreciate the small treat we were offered ( as part of the excellent service) as we had our anniversary on the day of booking

Went to Fischers in late afternoon after going to the open air theatre. Overall a very nice experience. Was quiet when we arrived but got busy and was nice buzzy atmosphere - looked like they were fully booked. Service was excellent. Food was really good and filling. I had chicken snietzel which was great. Was quite expensive but I suppose it is to be expected for the area.

The food was good, but nothing extraordinary ( we got the wiener and the chicken schnitzel ). The apple strudel was average, but the Sachertorte was really good. The staff was wonderful, kind and efficient !

Excellent food - I know it's a bit on the nose, saying this about an Austrian restaurant, but the Schnitzel is delicious! Starters and desert were equally lovely, particularly the beetroot cured salmon. Great service as well - nothing was too much trouble for our Restaurantleiter, she was helpfulness personified. Highly recommended!

We recently dined at Fischer Restaurant and were disappointed with the poor service throughout our visit. The staff seemed disorganised, often standing around without knowing what to do while we waited for basic items like a breadbasket and butter. Despite standing next to the staff, our requests were not promptly addressed. The butter served was definitely off. Additionally, dishes weren’t collected in a timely manner, leaving our table cluttered. The service felt inattentive and uncoordinated, detracting from our overall dining experience. When the food finally arrived, it was delivered without any interaction from the waiter, who merely dropped the plates on our table. To make matters worse, our dishes were mixed up, and we had to switch plates because we were served each other’s food. This lack of attention to detail and interaction made the experience feel impersonal and frustrating. While the food itself was decent, the disorganization and inattentiveness of the staff overshadowed our meal, leaving us with a less-than-satisfactory impression of Fischer Restaurant.
