    Marlene was knowledgable and is a pro at reading her guests. Fine dining with personality isn’t easy to find. We came for the food, but will keep coming back because of the service.

    What an experience we are there about 3 times a year and they never disappoint server was Kris. She was extremely attentive and had a great smile. I got the queen cut prime rib that was perfectly cooked and some left over for lunch the next day. Wife had crab cakes and Cole slaw. Like an old fashioned seafood house. She said they were great. And the drinks were perfect. Thank you.

    The only thing stopping a full 5 stars across the board was the wait time even with a reservation. We had other plans after dinner and couldn’t make them. However the food and service were excellent once seated.

    Tonight was the first time in 10 years that I had a bad experience. Our reservation was for 7:45. We didn’t get sat until 8:30 (I’m pretty sure we were forgotten). We were given 2 free drinks and 2 free desserts to make up for it. The bisque came out before the bread. The steak was also very chewy tonight which has never happened. We didn’t leave until 10:15 with a 7:45 reservation. It was overall a bad night. Hopefully just a weird thing and doesn’t happen again.

    Overall everything is very good. Only problem was the past two visits, our coffee was lukewarm !

    I had a wonderful time at the Franklin Inn. The food was amazing, our server Patrick was very attentive and he gave us excellent service. My only complaint was my reservation was 6pm on a Friday, and I had to circle the restaurant a few times to find a parking spot. That is a small inconvenience compared to the service, food and overall amazing experience I had at this establishment. 5 stars!

    For an upper echelon restaurant, they served me the end cut of a New York strip which was tough and sinewy. Being in the restaurant business, we would cut them up for stew, brochettes , stroganoff or whatever…. Not serve it as a NY strip. Shame on you
