Hiro 88 is an up-scale Pan-Asian restaurant in Omaha's Old Market. Serving some of Omaha's best sushi along with award winning Chinese food we have something for everyone's palate. We offer an extensive selection of sake, wine, beer and liquor.
We can accommodate up to 25 diners in our private room and have experience with events ranging from rehearsal dinners to pharmaceutical presentations.
In addition to our dining room and lounge we also have two large patios. Both Patios have full dinner and drink service. We also have Happy Hours Monday-Friday 3pm to 630pm, and Saturday 3pm to 6pm and Reverse Happy Hour Friday and Saturday 10pm to Close and all day Sunday!!!
For groups of 8 or more we do add 20% gratuity to the check. Please specify if you will need separate checks, have children that will require a highchair, if a high top table will be acceptable, or if any guests in your party has dietary restrictions that we need to be made aware of.

We do offer off-site catering. We need at least 24 hours notice. A delivery fee of $15.00 applies as well as a minimum of 15 entrees (for delivery). For groups of smaller size, arrangements can be made for the order to be picked up. All dishes from Chinese to Sushi platters are available for catering.

Our private dining area seats up to 25 diners. We have an 80" projection screen. All other audio visual equipment must be provided by the customer. The room has separate climate, lighting, and audio controls to create the perfect ambiance for your special event.

Being slightly off of the main streets of the Old Market, parking is more accessible than in our surrounding areas. We have a good amount of metered parking in front of our building. Weekday parking isn't typically an issue. We do suggest allowing additional time during weekends to acquire parking.

The decor is beautiful. The plates are beautiful too. The food is presented in a lovely fashion and tasted fantastic. We will be returning soon and often. We should have tried this place years ago, it's really good. I ordered the mongolian beef and it was the best I've had in a long time, going back to Chicago in fact.

The order of food presentation was messed up-our main courses came before our soups and salads, our fried rice came after we finished our meal-taste was good but we took most home after confusion of when dishes arrived. Made the Christmas Eve family dinner a disappointment. Waitress was great however!

Our waitress was very sweet but she had too many tables to handle. Thus, the service was just fair. For example we ordered an appetizer and realized we wanted a second one but it took about 10 mins to order it. This bar was also backed up as we got our appetizer before the drinks arrived.

We were few minutes late to our rez, which may have offset things but there were open tables when we arrived so it gave the impression that they were not overly busy. We were sat at a table that had not been reset which is not such a big deal, except we did not notice we had no chopsticks until our food arrived. Our server was great, I wish I remembered her name because she was apologetic about it and quick to grab is what we needed. Overall it was pretty good, I assume some things just got away from some people as they were trying to take care of everyone.

We were seated at the far end which was bright and loud. Other areas of restaurant lead better ambience and lower volume level.
