Welcome to HOTHOUSE, one of Toronto's destination food and wine eateries. We nourish your family like we would our own, and believe quality food shouldn't break the bank. Located in the historic St. Lawrence neighbourhood, we're situated amongst many of the city's iconic landmarks and entertainment hotspots and are in close proximity to the Financial and Theatre districts.

            Went on fathers day. Expected it to be busy which is why I made the reservations a month prior, but it was as if we walked in and they did us a favour and squeezed my family in for brunch. We were basically dining with another family. Our table was extremely close and we shared the same bench. Every time someone got up the entire bench moved. We felt and heard everything our table neighbors were doing. Awkward and uncomfortable. It would be a better Experience if we didn't dine with random people next to us and the servers checked in on us every now and then. A bit disappointed we chose HH for brunch that special day.

            The food was very disappointing. Cold sausage, brine soaked beef, cold ribs, minimal vegetable options.

            Hot House never disappoints. The service their wait staff provides is superb and the food is always cooked to perfection.

            We were three people who decided on the spur of the moment to have dinner at the HotHouse. The restaurant lived up to its usual standard. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the evening very much.

            Went with family for the Sunday brunch buffet. Had a great time and don’t have any criticism. There was a wide variety of items at the buffet ,and everything tasted great. There was a live band too and the music really made the whole experience feel more special. Staff were friendly and helpful and very attentive. Great value for money and I would highly recommend.

            We sat on the patio so the traffic noise was sometimes VERY LOUD but overall not terrible. This can't be held against HOTHOUSE, but just and FYI. Our server, Dana, was excellent - very cheery and provided very conscientious service. The kitchen was a little backed up, so our mains were slow in arriving. Overall, the food was very good and tasty. We had a HH hamburger which was large and juicy (excellent), chicken brochette with grilled veggies (very good) and Lumache Bolognese (wonderful). We usually go there once or twice a year and are never disapointed.

            Delicious food and good price. We have a good variety of food on the buffet. The desserts are pretty good as well.
