    Hunt Club provides some of the best food in our area. The service is top notch, the atmosphere is beautiful.

    We drove over an hour through a snowstorm to make our 7:45 pm reservation. The service was horrible. Our waitress was not attentive at all. She didn’t communicate with us. We received no apology from her, server, manager, etc after waiting OVER AN HOUR for our underwhelming meal. Scallops weren’t hot. Steak was fatty & undercooked. Extremely disappointing dining experience. It was a waste of time, energy and money. We will not be back.

    Reservation at 7:30 pm. Didn’t get our food until 9:30pm and we were not told much by staff about delay. We had sides to share that didn’t even come out until 9:30 either. No bread or anything like that either. Our table was extremely wobbly. Our waitress was very passive aggressive about the wait & didn’t seem to care we had waited so long. They ended up giving us our meal complimentary which was great on their end. It’s a real shame because the food was absolutely great!

    The service was outstanding but it took 2 hours to get our main course and 10 minutes to get our apps. By the time the main course came we weren’t hungry any more

    We have consistently enjoyed our experiences at this establishment. The quality of the food is exceptional, and the service consistently exceeds our expectations. Our preference is to sit at the bar, where Ralph has always provided outstanding care during our visits. On our most recent outing, Danielle attended to us, and she displayed remarkable professionalism and attentiveness. Additionally, the hostesses are commendable, always making an effort to accommodate our seating preferences at the bar. Overall, this restaurant stands out for both its culinary excellence and exemplary service.

    Wonderful when walking in greeted by hosts and manager. Our waitress and servers were all great.

    Everything here was very good. Would be 5 stars if there were some more little things for food. No side salad option and no bread for the table seemed kind of cheap. For the price point I was expecting those options.

    The whole experience was top notch! The excellent service started as soon as we met Alex at the check in stand. Lily, one of the managers on duty, was engaging and welcoming. Our food was wonderful, GET THE CRABCAKE! One of the best we've had! Our steaks were cooked how we expected and the side of brussel sprouts were delish! We ended the night with the Creme Brulé which was very tasty! We highly recommend the Hunt Club Steakhouse!

    Small portions, overcooked steaks, and mediocre food for the price. Expected a lot more from this place for the price- $50-60 steaks don't even come with a side salad, and 'family size' sides were only enough for 2 to share. We waited forever for food when there was hardly anyone in the dining room because they overcooked out filets the first time (they still came out overdone but we were starving by this point so ate them anyway). We come to Lake Geneva a lot and won't be back here again.

    We chose the Hunt Club for our anniversary dinner, hoping for a great experience, and while the ambiance and service were lovely, the food did not live up to expectations. We ordered calamari, roasted chicken, and the Wagyu steak. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Lily, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Since the bar was full, she brought us water while we waited for our table, such a thoughtful touch. After we were told it would be a 30-minute wait for our food once we ordered, we received our calamari, which was decent. My husband also enjoyed a drink, the Ralph's Wisconsin Old-Fashioned. However, we overheard that bread and butter were available for an upcharge, but we were never offered it. I'm 8 months pregnant, so I would have gladly accepted it if offered. When our entrées arrived, my roasted chicken was delicious. Unfortunately, my husband's $82 Wagyu steak was overcooked, and the potato side was flavorless, resembling more of a pastry than a potato. We asked for the steak to be remade, and in the meantime, they allowed him to sample the overcooked steak... to mention as well meat quality was disappointing, we recommended going with a regular steak.. save your money this steak is not worth it. When the replacement steak arrived, half of it was medium-rare (as he ordered) and the other half well-done (again). We didn't want to wait any longer, so my husband just ate what he could, and they kindly offered us a complimentary crème brûlée. With so many great dining options within an hour radius, we had high hopes for the Hunt Club, but sadly, the food quality didn't meet the standard we expected. The ambiance and staff were fantastic, but the meal itself left us feeling disappointed. I really hope they've addressed their grill issues because, unfortunately, this was one of the worst $170 meals we've ever had. It left us feeling like we didn't get our money's worth and we will be telling others to go elsewhere. We were very disappointed with the food.
