Jonathan's has been in the catering business for over 25 years now, hosting a variety of off site events in the region from political gatherings, to family reunions, to wedding receptions! For off site catering, a typical catering fee will be applied varying from 10-20% additional fee.

Good choices, all sounded delicious. Very pleased with my fish sampler. My husbands steak was cooked perfectly and very tender.

Too many people for wait staff to handle. Squeezed into a table between 2 rooms so noise level high. Waitress seemed overwhelmed and little short tempered. When member of our party wanted to change her cocktail order (within 30 seconds) told bluntly she couldn’t because order had been placed in handheld device!! Waitress distracted by table of 6 behind us so kept interrupting our service to attend to issues they’d raise rather then saying she’d be with them when finished with us. Ordered coffee cinnamon ice cream for dessert and got maple walnut. 2 of us had decaf coffee - clearly bottom of a pot that had been left on the burner. We paid $119!a piece for a meal that was good but parts really below par and overall felt uncared for. Live fulltime in York and have brought guests to Jonathan’s many times. This was quite a disappointment for me and my guests.

12/7: We attended a 6 pm dinner for the 8 pm show of Bob Marley. Parking was a challenge since there was an early show, but that's expected and not a big deal. We were seated for dinner but did not receive service for a full 20 minutes...the waiter did not know it was his table. Put in our drink order right away but did not have high hopes...we heard multiple waiters around us tell customers that the bar was severely backed up. Seeing how crazy it was, we ordered our main courses. Fast forward to 7 pm, and here comes our meals...but where are the drinks? Never showed up. The waiter, to his credit, went off and found them, but we had been in our seats for close to an hour without the drinks. At any rate, food was very good, and I don't slight the waiter since it was clearly more than the restaurant could handle. Maybe in the future, when you have a sold-out set of shows, that you adequately staff?

Good was ok but nothing great. Drinks were good. Glad we tried it but probably won’t go back.

The waitstaff was wonderful and attentive! It was very busy because it was the Christmas Prelude. Our food was delicious! Everyone loved their dish! Good for kids also
