Its hard to find elevated dining which is also kid friendly. Kali goes out of their way on their website to let you know that kids are welcome. The atmosphere is casual while the food is fine dining at its best. Highly recommend.

Lovely restaurant with great food. A few of the dishes were misses and the service had a lot of mistakes. Too much money to spend to have those issues.

Wonderful food and ambience. We really enjoyed the special Thanksgiving service. Parking was easy, noting the $12 valet charge +2$ with card to simply park behind the restaurant. Waiters were very fast and professional. Rest rooms were clean. Nice selection of alcohol free cocktails. Noise level moderate when busy so table conversation can be hard if your hearing isn’t in top form.

Thanksgiving pre fixe- food was lovely, they delivered on very nicely up-classed “chef-y” versions of holiday classics, and served everything family style (which can’t be easy to do, given they had tables of 2 to 10). Staff was pleasant if harried. That said a couple things were wanting… 1-They must have either really tried to max out bookings or underestimated how much time it would take to turn tables (it’s thanksgiving, folks… everyone is there to socialize and connect with friends and family!). Service was incredibly rushed, they wanted to move us along after dinner straight to coffee service (rather than asking if we wanted more wine, which we did),l. We felt a lot of pressure to vacate. Literally as we stood up they started moving our table. I would rather have paid 50% more and had a more relaxed experience. When we left there were several groups at the entrance waiting on tables, clearly unhappy. 2- maybe relatedly, there was zero explanation of the (somewhat) unconventional menu setup… the printed layout looked like it allowed choices by course, but in fact was family-style (not communicated, and printed on the menu in a spot we didn’t see it). Food started appearing within minutes, and beat our wine order to the table by 5-10 minutes… not a great experience. There were several add-on options for additional $, like oysters. Again… I’d rather they charged me more and just included those options. Maybe that’s just me. 3- it got unbearably hot in the room… guessing it was closing in on 80 degrees. Eventually someone must have realized it, as it slowly started to come down as our meal ended, but it was unpleasant (and prob rough on staff, too).

After having had two wonderful Thanksgving dinners in a row at Kali this year was a disappointment. The food overall was bland, the portions of sides quite small and the starters lackluster. The divers scallop and the pumpkin risotto of the starters were by far the highlight of the meal. We had the Spaghetti with Uni asa a supplement and it was only fair with very little sea urchin. The Turkey had little flavor, the gravy was equally flavorless. Perhaps the worst item of the meak was the pumpkin pie dessert. It was dry and unappetizing and after one bite not worth eating. Despite the restaurant being far from full the service staff seemed rushed and moved things along very quickly. there was no price/value relationship in this meal and sadly we will not be back t Kali in the future.
