The French Gazebo fka Kathy's Gazebo A Boca Raton Classic French Restaurant well known for its Dover Sole! For more than 35 years this beautiful restaurant has been a secret staple of Boca Raton. Chef Miguel prepares wonderful dishes from Dover Sole to Duck, Lamb Chops, Steaks and Salmon. Make sure you try the Carrot Mousse. All presented by a well experienced team of Servers in a delightful atmosphere that has been newly remodeled. The worst restaurant experience of the year ! I understand that restaurant can take advantage of the New Year’s Eve to come up with top price menus however the minimum is to serve quality food for such inflated prices. The foie gras was of a low cost supermarket level together with an old salad, the oysters were the same, as far as the Caesar salad is concerned (not a major preparation) I would advise to send the cook to Arturo restaurant for training - the soles were ok and the funniest part was the desert as we got a plate of 4 desert sampling to be shared by the 3 of us. No regret however as they were simply tasteless - may be just unfrozen!!! For $175 per person (food only)

We went to this place because of the reviews. Maybe was New's Eve dinner or what but the food taste like nothing. No flavor, dry, looks like was prepared few days before and just warmed up. The other surprise was it was Pre Six menu - $175.00 a person. Nobody informed us about this. I had goose pate, if you check their menu is $18.00 and roasted duck. My husband had lobster bisque - the size little bigger than espresso cup, and the lobster, crap cake and shrimp entree. No taste. On top of that the size of the crab cake was like quarter size, I am not exaggerating. I thought is was a bay scallop. Dessert - chefs collection - 4 tiny bites of cakes. I understand it is New Year and everybody wants to make money but this is a rip off. Especially if there is no taste to the food. The service - we were seated and half an hour later we still had no menus. I had to ask for. I understand it was New Year's Eve but the restaurant was half empty. We arrived at 7pm and no attention from the servers. We felt cheated. I am sorry but I cannot recommend this restaurant.

We were looking forward to returning to The French Gazebo after so many date nights throughout the years. The New Year’s Eve menu was overpriced ($65 for barely a four bite lobster entree and our meal’s were disappointing in taste and presentation. Appetizers; lobster bisque with three very tiny pieces of lobster for $18. Caesar Salad was good. Dessert was also a disappointment considering the price tag of $20 for what resembled a re-gifting of treats on a platter. Redeeming qualities were the good service, pleasant music, and the restaurant owner stopping at our table for a quick greeting.

Great food and ambience! Went for dinner New Year's Eve. Restaurant was nicely decorated with balloons and tables looked amazing with white linen. Wait stay all professionally dressed. Very upscale "vibe"! I ordered the veal medallions and my companion ordered the scallops. Both were delicious. The bread is superb! For our taste service could have been just a bit more attentive but that may have been due to the busy New Year seating. Expensive but you definitely get a very high quality total dining experience!

Beautiful delightful restaurant! Cuisine and service are consistently outstanding! Even when they are ultra busy, you have the ultimate experience. Dover Sole is the best I have ever tasted! Absolutely the best French restaurant period!

Meals were uneven. Duck and bouliabase were excellent but bay scallops were not good. Crepe royale was tough. Pecan pie was dry and flavorless
