"El lugar donde comen los neoyorkinos" Knickerbocker es conocido por su grandioso jazz y sus filetes t-bone de 28 oz., además de ser el favorito de muchas celebridades como F. Murray Abraham, Chris Noth y Alec Baldwin. Racheal Ray lo considera uno de sus "favoritos de la ciudad de Nueva York" y ha reconocido su coctel de camarones, espinaca con crema y, por supuesto, los filetes t-bone. Parking on the street is usually easy to find. The meters finish at 7:00pm, and the other street parking is available after 6:00pm. There are parking lots on the approach to the restaurant on 9th street or 8th street.
Public transit
The 6 train at Astor place, or the R & N to 8th street are just a block away. Other stations like Union Square & West 4th street are just a short walk away and have most train lines.
Variedad
Knickerbocker has had "Live Jazz" since the days when the village had "Live Jazz". Harry Connick Jr. got his start here, back in the late 80"s. Names like Junior Mance, Bucky Pizzarelli and Ben Wolf now show up on our schedule.We have live jazz on Friday & Saturday nights, starting at 9:45pm till 2:00am. There is a small $3.50 cover charge at the tables after 10:15 pm, or just stop in at the bar for a drink, with no cover.

Join us in Ringing in the New Year. We have two Seating Options, serving ONLY a Special a la Carte Menu. Music will Start at 7:15 PM and play until the New Year. The early Seating has seating times 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, No Music Charge The Late seating times are 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, $30 pp Music Charge Early seating flips into Late seating. Late seating will have Noise makers, Party hats, Poppers. Menu will be listed on our Website by Dec 1.

Era el día de Thanksgiving y el restaurante estaba mucho más lleno de lo usual para atender a la cantidad de gente que se presentó. La bartender muy buena y el host también excelente.

Excelente opción para ir a cenar con buena comida y excelente ambiente neuyorquino. Si te gusta el jazz, es un lugar al que no debes dejar de ir.

Food was slow to arrive. Appetizers arrived with main course without explanation. Waiter left us with empty drinks glasses; didn’t take another drink order until coffee. His attention seemed elsewhere. Unusually poor service. Most of our experiences here have had very good service.

Always a great experience. A true NYC gem. Had a early dinner and had fun watching 20+ vacationers come in on a dinner booked by a tour company. Everyone went out of their way to be nice to our NYC visitors.

3 of us had good wine and cocktails, shared beet salad and caviar pie, steak for 1 for 3 of us ( still had meat to take home) the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. We finished the meal with delicious churros and dipping sauces. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. A great meal!
