"El lugar donde comen los neoyorkinos" Knickerbocker es conocido por su grandioso jazz y sus filetes t-bone de 28 oz., además de ser el favorito de muchas celebridades como F. Murray Abraham, Chris Noth y Alec Baldwin. Racheal Ray lo considera uno de sus "favoritos de la ciudad de Nueva York" y ha reconocido su coctel de camarones, espinaca con crema y, por supuesto, los filetes t-bone. Decir la palabra "Knickerbocker" es como si se estuviera diciendo "Nueva York". En cuanto el comensal entra al establecimiento es fácil adivinar que se encuentra en la zona de The Village. The 6 train at Astor place, or the R & N to 8th street are just a block away. Other stations like Union Square & West 4th street are just a short walk away and have most train lines.

Knickerbocker has had "Live Jazz" since the days when the village had "Live Jazz". Harry Connick Jr. got his start here, back in the late 80"s. Names like Junior Mance, Bucky Pizzarelli and Ben Wolf now show up on our schedule.We have live jazz on Friday & Saturday nights, starting at 9:45pm till 2:00am. There is a small $3.50 cover charge at the tables after 10:15 pm, or just stop in at the bar for a drink, with no cover.

Era el día de Thanksgiving y el restaurante estaba mucho más lleno de lo usual para atender a la cantidad de gente que se presentó. La bartender muy buena y el host también excelente.

Excelente opción para ir a cenar con buena comida y excelente ambiente neuyorquino. Si te gusta el jazz, es un lugar al que no debes dejar de ir.

We just love it here. The food is always amazing and our waiter was so kind and attentive. That t-bone steak is so delicious with onion rings and spinach...we were just so pleased with everything. don't forget to order the chocolate soufflé!

From the host to seated us to our waiter to the busboys, everyone made us feel completely at home and welcome. Service was excellent and our every need was anticipated. My T-bone for 1 exceeded my expectations and my companion’s Lobster bisque blew them away. The chocolate soufflé was the excellent conclusion to our evening (I endorse this for any chocolate lover). The wine list was comprehensive without being overwhelming, including excellent choices at every price point. We’re looking forward to coming back often and soon.

The Knick is an institution in the Village, anchoring its block on University Place for decades. Some of the very best food in the neighborhood, served by some of the very nicest staff in the city.

Steak night for the Super Bowl. Fantastic table. Superb service. Tasty meal. Pitt about Kansas City however we had a marvelous night.
