"El lugar donde comen los neoyorkinos" Knickerbocker es conocido por su grandioso jazz y sus filetes t-bone de 28 oz., además de ser el favorito de muchas celebridades como F. Murray Abraham, Chris Noth y Alec Baldwin. Racheal Ray lo considera uno de sus "favoritos de la ciudad de Nueva York" y ha reconocido su coctel de camarones, espinaca con crema y, por supuesto, los filetes t-bone. Decir la palabra "Knickerbocker" es como si se estuviera diciendo "Nueva York". En cuanto el comensal entra al establecimiento es fácil adivinar que se encuentra en la zona de The Village. Parking on the street is usually easy to find. The meters finish at 7:00pm, and the other street parking is available after 6:00pm. There are parking lots on the approach to the restaurant on 9th street or 8th street.

The 6 train at Astor place, or the R & N to 8th street are just a block away. Other stations like Union Square & West 4th street are just a short walk away and have most train lines.
Variedad
Knickerbocker has had "Live Jazz" since the days when the village had "Live Jazz". Harry Connick Jr. got his start here, back in the late 80"s. Names like Junior Mance, Bucky Pizzarelli and Ben Wolf now show up on our schedule.We have live jazz on Friday & Saturday nights, starting at 9:45pm till 2:00am. There is a small $3.50 cover charge at the tables after 10:15 pm, or just stop in at the bar for a drink, with no cover.

Era el día de Thanksgiving y el restaurante estaba mucho más lleno de lo usual para atender a la cantidad de gente que se presentó. La bartender muy buena y el host también excelente.

Excelente opción para ir a cenar con buena comida y excelente ambiente neuyorquino. Si te gusta el jazz, es un lugar al que no debes dejar de ir.

Always fun to visit - especially with a guest who has history there. Nice cocktails and decent but not outstanding food. Great atmosphere, attentive service.

Another excellent dining experience at our favorite NYC Restaurant!! The food was excellent, as always and the staff extremely attentive!! Our server Maria was great -- Extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive without being intrusive which added greatly to the overall dining experience. In short, it was another sensational evening -- We will definitely be back!!!

Consistently fabulous! I've been going there for years and it never disappoints. The steak frites was perfect, so was the amiable service. My partner had the scampi and she loved it. It's a beautiful neighborhood restaurant and great place to go for a celebration or a casual meal. I love it there!

I have never had a steak here that wasn't perfectly cooked. Their t-bone is cheaper and better than any of the namier steakhouses in the city. A true, classic, gem of a place,

It was a lovely experience! Everything was done to perfection. Stephanie was a gracious, attentive, knowledgeable, & friendly server. The food was delicious. It was a perfect Mother’s Day dinner!

This is your old school NY establishment that never disappoints. Great service and great American food. It’s definitely a village favorite. Ask Micheal Kors.
