"La Cita" the meaning for "a date" is exactly who we are! We are a great place to enjoy great food, family and friends. Our traditional delights are made from scratch including our pastries. If you have never tried our "Molcajetes" which are served on a hot lava rock with chicken, shrimp and steak with our housemade chipotle, or our Plato Placero which is served with chorizo, spiced pork, chicken and salted beef, you are missing something special! We are a BYOB establishment, so feel free to bring your favorite bottle! Come meet our family and enjoy our tradition!

    Gorgeously small restaurant perfect for an intimate Valentine’s dinner away from the crowds! Even on Valentine’s Day, the service was attentive and fast! Incredible house made beverages and the most authentic tacos I’ve had on the East coast since moving from LA. Highly recommend for a casual meal or a date night!

    The food was excellent, tasty and worth it. The atmosphere was cozy and wonderful for a intimate dinner with a date or a small group.

    This was a perfect Valentine dinner! First time there great impression. Loved the quaint ambience. The food was excellent and  authentic. I will return in the future thank you to your staff for a great meal!

    Many years ago, I was in Mexico City and had some awesome food. True Mexican food is a whole new level. Never equaled until now. I have been driving past this place for years and finally went. Outstanding food and service. The intensity of flavors and presentation were awesome. Will be back. Job well done to everyone at La Cita.

    The food is always delicious and the service is attentive. The bierra tacos are are one of my favorites as the consommé that comes with it - pretty much think I could drink it! The molcajete is equally yummy… it’s big enough that I save some for lunch, and it just as great the next day! Consistently wonderful food!

    Beef tacos were good but ordered Flautas and the chicken was disgusting. At least 3 day old chicken, no flavor and pieces got stuck in my teeth. It was so dry.

    Great spot in cherry hill. We were sat quickly on Saturday night and enjoyed all of our dishes.
