Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio. Located on Woodward Ave, it's easy to jump on the QLine or walk down to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, or Ford Field.     Overall Hopcat is a good value. Hopcat has a bar type menu. Good atmosphere. Good wait staff. The food did not take too long to come out and Hopcat does not break the bank! This is our second year in a row dining there for Valentines Day. Keep up the good work Hopcat!

    I booked the Eagle for dinner because my wife was craving soul food. We got the hush puppies, fried chicken, blt chicken sandwich, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese and corn bread. The food was soooooooooo good. Best Mac & cheese I’ve ever had at a restaurant! We also got a peach drink (I can’t find it on the menu) and the Bourbon Punch, both were fantastic. We loved everything about our experience. Our waitress was also very good and just the right amount of attentive.

    Came here for the second consecutive year to celebrate my birthday tonight. Our second visit was just as delicious and enjoyable as our first. We got the beet salad, halloumi, their flatbread special, bucatini and the walleye. Every single dish had amazing flavour and decent portions. They also gave me a little birthday dessert which was a really nice way to end the meal. The cocktails were also really good-especially “I yam what I yam” was super unique and truly so tasty! Cant wait to come back next year!
