Riccardo and Marybeth welcome you to their 3rd property, Maribella Ristorante. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. When I was a child I grew up with my mother, grandmother and aunt. All of them were very good in the kitchen. They had different styles and they cooked every day. From ravioli, soup or patisserie, everything was made from scratch. Those ladies were my teachers. My first lesson was dishwashing, later it was helping as their assistant. To honor those amazing woman who helped me in my early days, I decided to open Tarquin to bring Sioux Falls our flavors, recipes and dishes. Tarquin is a piece of Buenos Aires in a remote corner of Sioux Falls commercial district. You are always going to be welcome here and we will always offer you our best.

    Perfect place for a quiet couple dinner enjoying a glass of wine, a quality plate of pasta and a scoop of gelato or affogato. The lobster pasta (sorry - horrible with the Italian names) was delicious - as has been anything we try. The service is knowledgable, friendly and prompt. Not our first time - it is a regular stop!

    We split the 12oz delmonico ribeye, with the Boursin mash potatoes and mushroom topper. It was delicious!! Drinks were good, the Pom Martini was yummy. My husband tried the manhattan but it was okay he is not fond of rye whiskey. Of course we had to dessert, my husband loves the traditional grasshopper milk shake with alcohol, it was very good, could have been slightly 5hicker. I had the death by chocolate cake, well only a small portion and brought the rest home.

    Great food! Highly recommend the Peppercorn burger and Cajun pasta. It took awhile for our food to arrive. Our waiter was very friendly and did a great job! The host (man with the reservation iPad) was not welcoming and easily distracted.

    The burgers were amazing. Our loaded barbacoa fries were room temperature and the guac was not great. Service was phenomenal as usual
