The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-20 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. We are Torquay locals, but we need to venture over to Jan Juc more often! This was our second time at Bird Rock, and we'll be back more often - it is so good in all aspects. It was a reasonably quite evening, but the Venue great, the Staff are the best, and the food is delicious - all in all, you couldn't complain, and you couldn't go past this Venue. It's also about the location - Juc is so much the Beachy vibe, and still has that feel, more nowadays than Torquay. Thanks to the young guys on Staff, who are the best !

The food was good, I was just annoyed that they don’t do steaks for lunch. Never been to a pub that does this. A bit annoyed. As we travelled 2 hours to come down to the beach and have a steak at the pub. Could’ve gone elsewhere but when you’ve got 3 little kids you don’t really want to be getting back in the car.
