The long established tradition of Afternoon Tea has been wonderfully preserved at Ashford Castle since 1868 - you’ll notice the original silver tea set displayed in the Connaught Room, which was presented to Lord and Lady Ardilaun to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 1896. My food tasted delicious. I was however expecting a salad with my spinach/feta pastry. What I received was a minimal amount of green leaves: delicious but tiny. Overall price was high.

Fabulous food , service we had a great evening spent with family for a special birthday and girls topped it off with birthday plate and singing, definitely will be back , how lucky we are to have such a wonderful restaurant in Leitrim xx

Fabulous Afternoon Tea at Ashford Castle 😊 From the moment we arrived on the grounds of the Castle we were looked after…The Castle was beautifully decorated for the festive season. Our booking was in The Connaught Room & the room is exquisite…the food was amazing & there was a big selection of teas. Loughlan looked after us very well. Would definitely recommend Ashford Castle for Afternoon Tea.

Another great experience at the old stone house. It never disappoints. Very attentive service. Mags is a great host and welcomed the children with a chocolate santa. The food was delicious. We had the scallops and soup as starters and the sea bass and steak as mains. All super. I'm already looking forward to going back!
