Ok, we do chicken, but our chicken is famous!Our local free-to-roam chicken is marinated for 24 hours in lemon, buttermilk, and paprika. We have always enjoyed having Afternoon Tea at the Merchant Hotel. The food is excellent and the staff are very attentive. We have no hesitation in recommending Afternoon Tea at the Merchant Hotel to family and friends.

It was my wife’s birthday and the staff produced a cake with a candle which was much appreciated. The meal was excellent and we always love the great hall.
