Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. Superb lunch at the Star for my wife’s birthday. Very tender steaks cooked to our liking. The best you’ll find anywhere. Personal service and lovely and quiet. We will definitely return.

Lovely cosy atmosphere in the pub with open fires. Very good menu with some unusual choices - always good to see. Food was delicious, service good too. Very nice place, we will go again

Another great meal at Duck Goose. On one of the coldest nights of the year, we were served hot and heartwarming food. We took advantage of their great value steak night deal and all the food was to the usual high standard. Service was friendly and attentive.

Everything was perfect, food delicious and well presented. Good portion size. Limited options due to unexpected weather conditions but still catered for our different tastes and needs. Lovely pub atmosphere with open fire.
