Our story started with a working avocado farm overlooking Mt. Warning, an old tin packing shed and a vision forged in the red earth of the Tweed Valley. Etsu is a Japanese izakaya which focuses on local amazing produce in our dishes which are designed to be shared amongst friends. We have one of the largest Japanese whisky collections on our back bar which we recommend served over hand cut ice or try one of our sakes or Japanese tap beers. We are farmers and distillers, making Husk Rum and Ink Gin on our beautiful 150acre family farm. Ink Gin is boldly unconventional, sparking conversation & making people take note. A true original, Ink brings colour & art to people through gin. Visit Husk Farm Distillery to learn & discover our spirits, enjoy good drinks and food and relax and connect to this ancient land. The Husk Distillery Bar & Planter’s Kitchen is open Wednesday-Sunday from 11am with a full cocktail and lunch menu available until 3pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends (subject to change), and an all day menu available until the kitchen closes. We are open Mondays & Tuesdays from 11am. Join us and enjoy small plates and grazing boards off our all day menu and have a full choice of tasting flights and cocktails.

Food was fantastic, I think we visited on a very busy night where they may have been understaffed. Communication was not there and waited nearly 2 hours for meals. In saying that the food we got was fantastic and staff were all very friendly trying their best. Would not deter me from going again.
