The locals' lounge room.Where new and old friends from around the globe gather for organic charcuterie, house-made pasta + European and Australian wine.Owner Stu and his team enjoy meats of Europe, the pastas of Italy, and wines from off the beaten track. The restaurant comes together over a love of pork and swill (and country music).The kitchen team spends afternoons pickling, rolling gnocchi, making focaccia and keeping an eye on our beloved cured meats and pecorino cheese wheels. Share some plates and have some fun.We don't like to play favourites but you should DEFINITELY try the Hazelnut Muhammara (blitzed red pepper dip topped with a sprinkling of pomegranate, roast hazelnuts, coffee grinds and native honey). Pair it with one of our Jerusalem Bagels (baked like a baby sourdough [rather than boiled] and brushed with pomegranate molasses before it gets popped in the oven). The pumping soundtrack will take you on many journeys but at its heart-and-soul it's really all about your favourite 90s-sing-along-pop-power-ballads 🎶We're just around the corner from the Coke Sign and 2 mins from Kings Cross Station.
