Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. Excellent food, fantastic service and a great atmosphere - just noting that the portions were on the small side. Whilst I appreciate the concept and the quality, the Tortelloni ordered was only 4 tortolloni - and that was the whole main course - even, perhaps, just offering 5, would have make it feel a little less lacking for a main course. Portion size aside, the food was fresh, and tasty and well presented. I would definitely return.

Lovey atmospheric pub with nice friendly helpful staff. The soup was not quite as hot as one of us wanted but it was soon rectified and in fact was delicious. Will be returning again soon.
