The Valentine's Day Meal was very nice, adequate choices and the welcome Cocktail was a nice touch. I think there could be improved parking for disabled patrons, as it is very difficult to park with a wheelchair. If you use the disabled parking in the big car park it is a long uneven journey for a wheelchair. All the courses we had were delicious. Some of the waiting staff need to learn to ask if you want anything further, once they have served you. Georgie was a very good Access Host, We haven't been hear for a while but will certainly return in the summer.

Food was excellent & birthday dessert a lovely gesture. Both steak sampler & fish of the day were superb. Service was a bit hit & miss but all staff very polite. Wine was great but I'd not bother with the cocktails. Would definitely visit again.

We went for Sunday lunch and had a lovely time. Cocktails are amazing, food was delicious, decor was great. The only downside was that the service was very slow and waiting staff not very attentive as in we sat with empty glasses for a long time and no-one came over to the table really except to take our order or serve the food. Also not enough gravy on the roast but that is a personal preference. Overall though loved The Hengist and would definitely go back!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation. The live music added such a wonderful touch to our evening. Highly recommended.

I cannot praise this place highly enough. It is a little hidden gem in the park. The service and food were outstanding and extremely reasonably priced. Cooked to perfection with lovely, fresh ingredients. Our waitress, Storm, was just wonderful. We had a lovely view of the terrace. I will definitely be going back. I said at the time I'm torn between recommending it constantly, and keeping quiet so that it remains just as is it!
