At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner. The interior of the restaurant is natural brick and the couple have chosen a rich color palette of deep blues and greens for the walls.     We ordered the bucatini, pesto gnocchi, fried chicken sandwich, lasagna all of which were fantastic! Highly recommend this spot! The staff was also extremely friendly and helped us celebrate a birthday and anniversary! Will definitely be coming back! I would suggest making a dinner reservation in advance for a table inside the ambience is so cozy and vibrant.

    Amazing food with perfect execution and creative vibrancy. Great service paired with warm ambience enhanced our experience even more. Our favorite was the grilled pork with braised savoy cabbage, chanterelles, and pear purée. Perfectly juicy and seasoned, paired with the right amount of sweetness, acidity, and umami. Churros were also the best and most unique ones. They were slightly custardy in the middle and served with a rich and sweet/savory miso caramel sauce.

    We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday with a brunch. Twelve happy and well-fed people! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed incredible food, a jazz ensemble, and a wonderful ambiance. We loved the ricotta pancakes, shrimp toast, and huevos rancheros. Everything was perfect!!
