Jordan Pond House, a restaurant and shop with a long tradition within Acadia National Park, sits on a hill overlooking a beautiful lawn along the Jordan Pond. Guests have been enjoying these amazing views and dining at this site since 1893 when Nellie McIntire, the first proprietor, started baking and serving her famous popovers out of the restaurant. Ever since then, we have been serving popovers and tea.Please note: Reservations may be made for inside dining only. Due to weather variability, we are unable to accommodate reservations for the lawn. Our go-to restaurant on the mid-coast. Love the Portuguese Seafood and Linguine, steak frites and the shrimp and grits. Pretty much anything on the menu. Service is impeccable. The owner is very welcoming. Like that one can make reservations to sit at the bar. My one complaint about the place, that the bar stools were designed for 7 foot tall people has been rectified as the new bar stools are adjustable.

We had an exceptional dining experience at Ann book bistro this evening. The food was outstanding as it was the service. The ambience is very charming. It is fine dining on the mid coast of Maine, difficult to find. We will be back.
